MONTANA YOGA ADVENTURES
Yoga & Rafting Overnight Adventure
Click here to contact me about partnering with Love Leigh Yoga for guided Yoga Retreats through your outdoor recreation business!
Combining the healing affects of spending time outdoors with the practice of yoga is a passion of Leigh's and you can join her and the talented guides from Glacier Raft Company on an overnight raft trip. Enjoy two days of paddling along the Flathead River, which borders Glacier National Park.
Dine alfresco with healthy and nourishing food prepared fresh on-site, and camp under a thousand stars, falling asleep to the sound of the river's song. We will have short lunch practices, and a full length practice at sunset, and again at sunrise before we float the crystal clear waters. As a ranger in the park since 2012, and a whitewater guide, Leigh is intimately familiar with the Flathead river and the landscape it winds through, and will share her knowledge of the natural and cultural history of the region during the trip.

Raft & Yoga Day Trips
Can't make it for the overnight but still want to get some riverside yoga time in this summer? You can book private float trips with me on the Middle Fork of the Flathead, stopping at a gorgeous beach to offer a 45 minute yoga practice with the sounds of the rushing river as our musical accompaniment! We will be in a raft rowed by me or paddled together as a group. Depending on the water levels booking individual inflatable kayaks may also be a possibility.

SUP Yoga!
I currently do not have any classes on the books for summer 2024, check my Instagram page for updates on any special outdoor offerings.
I think SUP yoga is one of my favorite ways to practice yoga! Being on the stand up paddleboard takes the routine poses and movements we go through and makes them completely new. It creates the need for intentional movement, fosters strength and stability, and focuses you on the present. As with any other yoga modality, you can make it more or less physically demanding to suit your needs and interests. Studies show that spending time around water is good for our health - mentally and physiologically.
Time spent in the sun - adequately protected - boosts our vitamin D and sense of well-being. We are designed to spent time outdoors. We become adapted to other settings, but our bodies thrive in nature.
